HOW TO speed up your PC using Task Manager and Disk Optimization

Next free advice that I am going to show you is on how to keep your system disk organised, and the system itself free of applications that you do not need actually to start up together with windows.
Why is this important?
Our system speed depends, among the rest, on how much of free system memory your applications can use.
When we turn on the computer a lots of unwanted software that we do not use so often are booting together with system and they are active even if we do not see them working anything.
Some of them you can exclude from start up, and free a great amount of system memory installed.
Most common applications booting with system are some update services. I suggest to disable them because if it is absolutely needed to update their versions you sure will be noticed when you try to use those applications, and until than feel free to turn them off.
In one of previous tips I showed you how to disable those apps using free CCleaner software, but there is another way to do that and not unnecessarily to use third party-s software solutions.
Among other possibilities Windows itself have a nice and easy way to get rid of those small but important troubles.
Using the Task Manager, by pressing ctrl+alt+delete key combination and choosing it from a menu screen.
Task Manager gives us a lot of information about our system, as also about applications that impact start-up of our system.
Also here we can see some other information about Processes, Performance, App history, Start-up, Users, Details and Services.
Under the tab Start-up, you can see enabled and disabled apps, so if you think that some of them still impact system start-up more than it is acceptable, and makes you feel uncomfortable with it, and that your system is going to boot faster without them, feel free to disable them, by choosing unwanted application with mouse right click and then option disable. If opposite, just click on enable, or if you see that some of applications you turned off you actually need to be booted up with your system.
That’s it pretty much, be careful, avoid to use Task manager more than needed. Sometimes it might become helpful if some Application breaks, and does not works any more, but you can’t close it, you can use task manager to do it from there, under section of active Processes.
Another tip for today would be on how to defragment, or trim files on your system or other disks.
Open Computer icon, choose drive you want to reorganise and use the right click, then Properties, and Tools. Under tools, choose Optimize and defragment drive. Click optimize choose drive you want ( by default it is system disk drive.)
If you use hard disk drive, you’ll see the progress of defragmentation, and if your drive is the solid state disk you’ll see it’s files been trimmed.
This is very helpful and placing files system is using at potentially closer to read positions, and other ones, that we do not use so often, it places at slower to approach places at system disk.
After this please do restart your system and you’ll see faster boot up times, and system also works much, much faster.
Thanks for watching us again, I hope that our tips and tricks are helpful to lot of users that meets some small troubles. Feel free to follow our channel for more we have to share and to make your work nice and easy and your PC in good condition.
Thanks again and good bye!
