Joying – JY-UMS02N2D – 10.1 inch – 2GB RAM – Intel processor – review

This is a video I made of my Joying 10.1 inch unit, with 2GB of RAM, the Intel processor, and the internal digital amplifier. It is installed in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition with the base audio system. I originally had the Jeep OEM 430N radio, which I replaced with a Joying JY-JL001.

I replaced the JY-JL001 with the Joying JY-UL138N2, 8 inch unit. When that died, I got the JY-UMS02N2D as a replacement. It is a single din, with a brass looking plate on the back. It has an internal digital amplifier, and a much more robust EQ than the previous units.

Installed using a Joying universal wiring harness:

Spliced into a PAC RP4-CH11:

Installed with the Metra 99-6511 Single Din Dash Kit:

The Joying will include its own GPS, but if you want to retain the Jeep GPS instead, you can get this:

And for regular radio, if you get the universal you will need this:
Metra 40-EU10 Antenna to Radio Adapter

Retained the console USB with the Metra USB adapter:

I used the Panlong Bluetooth OBD2 to use Torque:

Splicing and programming a PAC RP4-CH11 Radiopro4 to a Joying in a Jeep Wrangler

This is a video I filmed awhile back. In this video I splice the PAC RP4-CH11 Radiopro4 to a Joying universal harness. I then set up the Steering Wheel Controls on my Joying JY-UMS03N2D. The later part of the video is specific to Joying, but the splicing can be relevant to any aftermarket head unit connected to a Jeep Wrangler.

In this video I am installing a JY-UMS03N2D in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition, with the base audio system.

This is installed in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition.
Installed using a Joying universal wiring harness:
