In this video we will create an Android App that uses polylines to draw routes between two locations. Here we will first add 2 locations on google map, A marker will be added to those two points and the route will highlighted. The API used in Google Directions API. The Directions API is a web service that calculates directions between locations using an HTTP request. You can find more about it here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/directions/intro
Note: For simplicity we have used some classes that you can use too and used those classes to show routes between two locations. This is a simple demo that will help you to draw routes between 2 locations in your Android App as soon as possible. You can customize the helper classes to obtain required functionality.

How the World Map Looks Wildly Different Than You Think
All of us have seen a world map at some point in our lives before, but it is very difficult to imagine how certain countries and parts of the world compare to each other in size that are far apart. In this video, I explore why the world looks very different than how it is portrayed in the Mercator Projection map. I then go on to explore how certain countries are unexpectedly larger or smaller than what they appear to be, and how some places looks wildly different than our perceptions.
PS; Don’t totally hate on the Mercator Projection, it’s actually a really useful map for navigation and on keeping the correct shape of countries while sacrificing the size that we can all laugh about!
